Year End Awards Party December 14!

Join us as we celebrate another stellar year together! Brunch potluck at the upstairs meeting room in the La Plata County Fair Ground exhibit hall this Saturday, December 14, from 10-12 am. We will be presenting the awards for our series champions and playing some fun games. Coffee and hot cocoa provided, bring a dish to share!

NEW DRESSAGE TESTS FOR 2019

USDF has released the new 2019 tests. These will be valid 12/1/2018 through 11/30/2022 and can be found on the United States Dressage Federation Website HERE

Combined Test is Back!

As a part of our back to back dressage and hunter shows on September 7 & 8, we will be offering a combined test option to exhibitors. Levels offered will run from Tadpole (ground poles and USDF Intro A dressage) up to USEA Novice. This event will be held at the Montezuma County Fairground with dressage outside and jumping indoors. Stalls will be available. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the event.

NEW DRESSAGE LETTERS!

4CDCTA sprung for a set of new dressage letters. These beauties are 30’ tall with 26’ bases and should be able to be seen from outer space…or at least from anywhere inside the arena. Our old set of 12 is for sale for $50. They will come with a full set of replacement stick on letters. Contact Rebecca if interested.

New Formats and More Awards

We have tweaked our hunter division format to more closely resemble what you would encounter at recognized shows. We will be running flat classes immediately following each height as a part of each division and will now be awarding Champion and Reserves for most divisions at every hunter jumper show. For dressage, we will now be rewarding the two highest scores of the day with Champion and Reserve ribbons courtesy of Rickie Swink and Prime my Body Hemp Oil!
